Low-Cost, Low-Profile Wide-Band Radar Cross Section Reduction Using Dual-Concentric Phase Gradient Modulated Surface

چکیده
Design criteria of low-cost, dual-concentric metasurface possessing wideband phase gradient (PG) are introduced. The radar cross-section reduction (RCSR) is explained by anomalous reflection that characterizes the superficial planar. geometry consists two single band RCSR modulated surfaces (MSs) triggered in each other. Each MS built-up square patch (SP) unit cells configured as a modulation structure to realize PG causes and monostatic behavior. Applying sinusoidal sequence SP leads formation along surface hence intensity reflected wave reduced for broadside direction (?r=0?). proposed fabricated on 0.8 mm thin FR-4 substrate extends over 249 × mm2. It achieves wide bandwidth from 20.9 GHz 45.7 (i.e., relative 75%) designed Dassault Systèmes (CST) Microwave Studio full-wave simulator confirmed measurement results.

Monopole Antenna Radar Cross Section Reduction with Plasma Helix
In this paper, a new method for radar cross section reduction of a monopole antenna is proposed. In this method, a plasma helix like fluorescent bulbs is placed around the antenna element. The selected plasma parameter for this medium acts as an absorber without disturbing the antenna performance. The simulations show that radar cross section of simulated antenna is reduced in a wide frequency ...
متن کاملWide Tuning Band Low Phase Noise LC Voltage Controlled Oscillators Designed in Low Cost CMOS Technologies
This paper demonstrates the feasibility of implementing wide tuning band low phase noise oscillators in low cost Sibased integration technologies. For that, it is necessary to use radio-frequency switched capacitors arrays (RFSCA) and differentially tuned anti-parallel varactors. To corroborate this idea, a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), designed in a low cost 0.35 μm CMOS technology, is ...

In this paper, a new design of concurrent dual-band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for multi-band single-channel Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers is proposed. This new structure is able to operate concurrently at frequency of 1.2 and 1.57 GHz. Parallel and series resonance parts are employed in the input matching in order to achieve concurrent performance. With respect to used pse...

Radar based object detection systems have been in place for about a century serving various purposes like detection of ships aircrafts, spacecraft, navigation, reading weather formations and terrain mapping. With the advent of better packing technologies and signal conditioning circuits radars have become compact and affordable thus offering comparatively low cost solutions than other systems b...
متن کاملA Low Radar Cross Section Dipole Antenna Simulation
This paper reports a new method for reducing the Radar Cross-Section (RCS) of a metal backed dipole antenna. Numerical simulations are used to show that when the Perfect Electrical Conductor (PEC) is replaced by a carefully designed Frequency Selective Surface (FSS), the electromagnetic performance of the antenna is similar in band, but the RCS of the structure is significantly lower out of ban...
